FootFall Menus - 2008

Here is our tentative menu for the weekend. Please note that it is subject to change, but we think any changes will be minor. We wanted you to have advance notice, to allow for allergy issues, etc. There is a campers' refrigerator in the Dining Hall, which is accessible all day. The salad bar, which will be available at both lunch and dinner, is well stocked with cheeses, tuna, orzo, black beans, carrots, red and green peppers, tomatoes, tofu, and more – plus about half a dozen dressings.

Coffee and hot water for tea or cocoa will be available all day, as will ice water. Additional beverages will include juice for breakfast, and lemonade and iced tea at lunch and dinner.

Friday night dinner

Baked salmon
Parsley potatoes
Broccoli
Pasta Florentine
Salad bar
Apple pie or apple crumble
For late arrivals:
Sliced chicken, sliced cheese, PB&J,
bread, yogurt, cookies and carrots.

 

Saturday dinner

Roast chicken or roast turkey
Dressing and gravy
Pasta with peas, red peppers, and toasted walnuts
Baked quartered red and sweet potatoes
Green beans
Salad bar
Chocolate chip pancakes with fruit and whipped topping.

Saturday breakfast

Waffles with fruit
Sausage (pork and vegetarian)
Eggs (probably hard-cooked or poached)
Hot and cold cereals
Yogurt
Fruit

 

Sunday breakfast

Scrambled eggs
Lox and bagels
Hot and cold cereals
Yogurt
Fruit

Saturday lunch

Quiche -- spinach, cheese, or broccoli
Chicken salad
Waldorf salad with soy dressing
Salad bar
Sherbet

 

Sunday lunch

Burgers -- beef, chicken, or veggie -- plus condiments
Zucchini and summer squash
Rice and beans
Salad bar
Lola's delicious chocolate muffins

Evening snacks

Cheese, nuts, fruit, chocolate, and pretzels or chips.
Donations for the evening snack gratefully accepted – they can be stored in the Canteen, which has refrigeration.
Personal beverages can also be stored in the Canteen.
