We are beginning to plan FootFall 2021 (yes, THIS Labor Day weekend).
We are hoping to have the same wonderful line-up we had planned for FootFall 2020 (the Daybreak Trio, Hot Coffee Breakdown, and Are We There Yet). As information becomes available, we will post it here and on the FootFall FaceBook page.
Again this year we will be sharing beautiful (if vertical) Camp Louise, near Thurmont, Maryland, with World Music and Dance, and once again all attendees at both camps may attend any class or session on either schedule.
FootFall check in starts at 10 am on SATURDAY morning, September 4 at 10 am, and the first FootFall sessions will be at 11:30. Although we will be at the Camp on Friday, we strongly recommend that you wait until Saturday morning for check in for two reasons. The most important is that holiday Friday traffic in the Greater Washington area is dreadful. A pleasant hour and 15 minute drive to the Camp on Saturday morning is a miserable (and fuel-wasting, polluting) three-hour-plus hassle on Friday night. The other reason to delay your arrival is that the Camp (and the cabins) are much MUCH easier to navigate and locate in daylight.
World Village Music and Dance will have a Friday evening dance, featuring demonstrations of dance styles taught by the instructors. We will permit Friday arrivals (although there’s an extra charge by the Camp for an extra night’s stay and two meals), but you’ll need to let us know in advance.
More as we get the details settled. Our beloved and reliable Webmaster passed away a few months ago, and it’ll be an uphill struggle to learn WordPress. Please be patient.

I am interested but will need a ride with someone to get there and also back in time for Rosh Hashana which begins on the evening of the 6th of September.

I’m sorry we didn’t get to trying to arrange rides for people because we were watching the reports about the virus & trying to decide if we could put the weekend on or not. We ultimately chose to keep everyone safe and cancel for this year, and hope that we know enough more about the virus’ variants by next year, and that enough more people have been vaccinated, so that we can put on another FootFall.
